Another recent addition to The Danna Smile, Joie brings with her 29 years of Dental expertise and experience. As a Dental Assistant, she is responsible for preparing treatment rooms for patient procedures, welcoming each patient that comes in to see her, and assisting the doctor with whatever procedures are being conducted that day. Joie loves meeting new people and making a positive impact on their smile and life. She chose to pursue a career in dentistry to help transform the lives of everyone she works with. She feels that The Danna Smile is unique because of the professionalism, attitude, and compassion that is shown to all of their patients. Outside of the office, Joie is a strong supporter of “retail therapy”! You can also find her spending time with her family, including 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
You can tell Terri truly loves the work she does. She said her love of dental care started to take shape in the 11th grade. Maybe that’s just part of the reason why she’s been working in dentistry for well over two decades. We think it also has something to do with the fact that Terri loves to talk to patients. She enjoys getting to know them not just as a patient, but as a person. Terri frequently assists the doctors with cosmetic surgeries and orthodontics. She’s also responsible for sterilization and breaking down/setting up your treatment room. Terri says the people she works with are what make The Danna Smile so unique. She loves working alongside a talented team who make her excited to come to work every day. This self-described people person is usually doing something fun outdoors when she’s not at the office. Terri loves boating, fishing, camping, skiing, shopping, and watching sports. Her greatest love comes from raising her two teenage children and volunteering with them at church.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jacob has been in the dental field for the last 3 years. As part of The Danna Smile’s Hygiene team, he is responsible for helping people learn the skills necessary to reach their optimal oral health. This involves teaching the proper care techniques, as well as the required treatments they need when they come into the office. He loves being able to meet and learn about each and every patient that comes through the door and into the treatment chairs. Jacob understands the personal side of dentistry and wants to ensure that each patient feels the care and concern he has for them. If Jacob wasn’t in dentistry, and money was not an issue, he would be constantly traveling the world and visiting as many amazing places as possible. When he’s not caring for his patients, you can find him spending time with his wife, watching the latest blockbuster, or snapping a beautiful photograph of nature.
